Toblach-Cortina Classic is part of the Visma Ski Classics, the long distance ski championship consisting of the most traditional and prestigious ski events in the world. 

The long distance ski races are all carried out over distances of 50km or more. They are unique because of the joint participation of professional and a huge mass of amateur skiers through picturesque landscapes around Europe.
