Even this year, the Salento Pride will be there: the date will be Saturday 19th August 2017 and the city of Gallipoli has been confirmed as location for the final parade.
Cristina Bugarry, curator of Bugatty Channel & participant of Beijing Express 2016, will be the official Godmother of the Salento Pride.

The route is also confirmed: the procession will leave in the afternoon ( concentrated at 4.30pm) from Piazza Giovanni XX111/Via Kennnedy (close to Led Cafe) will continue through Via del Mare and will turn left into Seafront Galilei finishing at the Lido Por do sol.

This year, the theme of the Salento Pride will be proudly Salentino. We have indeed imagined a Pride that is not only for the rainbow community but for all people of Salento. Our pride, will look to characterize the final Parade with carts that promote the Salento territory from a food & wine point of view, cultural history, tourism, crafts and industry. Proud to be from Salento, "Rights & Tastes" this is the mantra of the Salento Pride 2017. We therefore invite the organisers of big events, craft companies and industries, agricultural companies, biological, etc.. to participate with a cart that represents a price of our territory. The objective is to be proud of being from Salento independent of sexual orientation and gender identity and that we are not different: Salento loves everything and everyone
