The Nickelback are a Canadian rock band born in Hanna in 1995. The band is composed of the singer and guitarist Chad Kroeger, the bassist Mike Kroeger, the guitarist and chorister Ryan Peake and the drummer Ryan Vikedal. The name of the band comes from the nickel (5-cents-worth coin) and the fact that bassist Mike Kroeger often had to say “Here’s your nickel, back” to give back their change to the clients at Sturbucks, where he was working. With their single How You Remind Me the band became one of the most successful Canadian bands of all times, with more than 50 milions records sold all over the world.
