The Marostica Summer Festival Volksbank is one of the most eagerly awaited musical events of the Venetian summer and, every year in the first weeks of July, brings big names from the national and international scene to the heart of one of Italy's most iconic locations: the spectacular Piazza Castello in Marostica.

Famous throughout the world for its legendary Living Chess Game, the square is transformed into a unique open-air stage, framed by an extraordinary historical and cultural setting. The atmosphere is made even more evocative by the two castles that dominate the town: the Lower Castle, a medieval fortification located in the historic centre, and the Upper Castle, connected by one of the best-preserved walls in the Vicenza area.

Organised by DuePunti Eventi in collaboration with the City of Marostica and with the support of Fondazione Banca Popolare di Marostica – Volksbank, the festival is a must for those who love live music and want to experience it in a unique setting, where history, emotion and entertainment come together under the stars.
