The Judas Priest have been deeply influencing the entire hard-rock and metal stage. They are recognizable thanks to Rob Halford solos and unique guitar sounds, the band's trademark. The band was born in Birmingham, England, during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal in the late 70s. Afterwards, they conquered the 80s with innovative thrash and hair metal sounds. Formed in 1969, the Judas Priest spent some years trying to find their members, but they successfully stabilised with the singer Rob Halford, the guitarists K. K. Downing and Glenn Tipton and the bassist Ian Hill in occasion of their debut song in 1974, "Rocka Rolla".
