Born in the Bronx (New York) on July 24, 1969 to Puerto Rican parents, Jennifer Lopez from an early age showed an interest in dance and acting.After a few appearances in music videos and an early, small role in the film “My Little Girl,” Lopez got her big break by joining the cast of director-actor Keenen Ivory Wayans' TV series “In Living Colour.” A defining role for her acting career (alongside “Mi familia” in '95, directed by Gregory Nava), however, is the 1995 film “Money train” opposite Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, followed by minor parts in “Jack” with Robin Williams and “Blood & wine ‘with Jack Nicholson (both ’96).
