After their incredible success at the Stadio Euganeo in Padua last July, Iron Maiden are returning to Italy with a single incredible date on 17 June in Milan! The band has announced a new date for their “Run For Your Lives World Tour”, which celebrates Iron Maiden's 50-year career with a special show featuring a set list of greatest hits from their albums, ranging from their eponymous debut in 1980 to “Fear Of The Dark” in 1992. For the first time in history, the San Siro Stadium in Milan will host a heavy metal event: an unmissable opportunity to experience a truly unforgettable show. Iron Maiden are considered among the pioneers and major representatives of the so-called new wave of English heavy metal. Born in London in 1975 on the initiative of bassist Steve Harris, they came out with the first official demo The Soundhouse Tapes only four years later. The actual debut, however, arrives in 1980 with the eponymous Iron Maiden: it contains the famous tracks Running Free and Sanctuary, but above all climbs the English charts leading them to an overwhelming success. They cross the 80s and 90s as great protagonists and enter the new millennium as great metal priests, filling the stadiums of half the world with avid fans.
