After their last European Tour in 2024, IDLES are ready to unleash their rock spirit on Italian stages with a new show. We will accompany you to the entrance of the I-Days festival in Milan on 5 July 2026 for the Foo Fighters show, an event offering pure entertainment where you can watch one of the most extravagant bands in Great Britain, which is dominating its genre, British punk rock, which has not been heard in Italy for some time. Idles are a British punk rock band formed in Bristol in 2009, consisting of Joe Talbot (vocals), Mark Bowen (guitar), Lee Kiernan (guitar), Adam Devonshire (bass) and Jon Beavis (drums). Their career gained momentum with the album "Brutalism" in 2017, followed by "Joy as an Act of Resistance" in 2018, which received critical praise and recognition. The band is known for its powerful and direct sound, tackling topics such as toxic masculinity, politics and social issues. Their lyrics are characterized by a strongly progressive vision and talk about vulnerability, acceptance, immigration and brotherhood. Their musical influences range from punk rock to post-punk and alternative rock. Their performances are characterized by great energy, audience involvement and an emotionally charged atmosphere. On October 18, 2023, the Band released the single Dancer, featuring James Murphy and Nancy Whang of "Icd Soundsystem". They also announced their next album “Tangk”, out February 16, 2024 produced by Kenny Beats, Nigel Godrich and guitarist Mark Bowen.
