Fontaines DC is a punk-alternative band that was born in Dublin in 2017. Its 5 members, Carlos O'Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan, Grian Chatten and Tom Coll, got together thanks to their common love for poetry, which they transformed in music, gaining the favour of the critics and collecting more and more fans. Their first album, Dogrel, was even nominated at the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, while their second one, A Hero's Death, was nominated as "Best rock album" at the Grammy Awards in 2021.
