The red wines of Valtellina are obtained from a late ripening vine that has been able to create a perfect union with this land over the centuries, giving birth to unique wines. The Designation of Origin of Valtellina boasts 2 DOCGs (Sforzato di Valtellina and Valtellina Superiore) 1 DOC (Rosso di Valtellina) and 1 IGT (Terrazze Retiche di Sondrio), the vineyards extend for about 800 hectares with 2,042 winemakers.

We will take you to visit the Casa Vinicola Pietro Nera, one of the most important and prestigious winery in Valtellina, with a long tradition in the enhancement and promotion of the territory, in the cultivation of vineyards and in the production of high quality wines with unique characteristics, which certificates of merit have been awarded in the various national and international competitions.
