The fun in the snow just by bus!

Monte Cimone is one of the main ski resorts in the whole of southern Italy and certainly the most important in the Molise region. The municipality in which this locality falls, located at 1,400 meters above sea level, is that of san massimo, and campitello matese represents its appendix placed higher. Both in summer and in winter it is now a well-known place to relax and have fun while practicing various sports. Environment campitello matese rises on a wide plateau surrounded by high mountain peaks, among which the highest is that of monte miletto (2,050 m.s.l.m.). Other peaks approaching 2,000 meters complete the Matese massif, a mountain group of karst origin that allows you to discover caves, woods and other naturalistic beauties while walking in unspoiled nature. Winter sports in winter, when the temperature drops below freezing and the snow falls white, Campitello Matese is transformed into a fully equipped ski area, including 40 km of slopes suitable for downhill skiing. 3 chairlifts, 3 ski lifts and 1 moving walkway; these represent the modern and efficient facilities that allow you to ski in complete freedom on the Campitello plateau.
