January 21st, 22nd & 23rd 2022, Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL)
In addition to the traditional two days of competition, a second super-G scheduled for Friday will be added in 2023.
What is the most popular event of the Women's Alpine Skiing World Cup in terms of speed, becomes even more interesting and engaging this year. It will be right in the year of the thirtieth anniversary of the event, which has become a fixture of the Pink Cup since 1993.
The event will start on Friday 20th January, with a super-G, to continue on Saturday 21st with a downhill and conclude on Sunday 22nd with another super-G.
The competition venue will, of course, be the Olympia delle Tofane which last season saw a double blue triumph: Sofia Goggia in the downhill, Elena Curtoni in super-G.
The Classica, which has been held continuously since 1993, awaits the heir of the great Lindsey Vonn, winner 12 times on the Ampezzo track: will there be an encore by Lara Gut after the double world medal? The paw of our Sofia Goggia?
