Placebo are celebrating thirty years of success with a long-awaited return to Italian stages. A live show that blends the legendary past of ‘Every You Every Me’ with the band’s present, offering fans an unforgettable experience at the heart of alternative rock. The concert will take place on 6 November at the Forum in Milan: a date with history, led by Brian Molko’s timeless charisma. Brian Molko (vocals, guitars), Stefan Olsdal (bass, guitar and keyboards) and Steve Hewitt (drums) make up Placebo, a truly multinational band given that the first is American, the second Swedish and the third English. Molko and Olsdal first met in Luxembourg, at primary school. The pair met up again many years later on a street in London, and the duo was joined – initially part-time, then full-time – by Steve Hewitt, formerly the drummer for The Breed. Moving between various independent labels, they managed to release a few singles and caught the attention of Hut Recordings as well as David Bowie, who became their mentor.
