Gabriele ‘Gabry’ Ponte born in Turin on 20 April 1973, is an Italian disc jockey, record producer, radio presenter and television pundit. In 1993, at the age of 20, he joined BlissCo, which he was opening, and became a DJ producer. He then began working in some of Turin's clubs and often moved to Liguria, Veneto and Friuli, where he first became resident DJ, then artistic director and finally owner of a club on the Adriatic Riviera. After a few years of studio work, in 1998 he began his collaboration with Maurizio Lobina and Jeffrey Jey (Gianfranco Randone), and thus Eiffel 65 was born. In 2002 he released his first solo album, GABRY PONTE; in 2004 DR JEKYLL AND MR. DJ and the following year he announced his separation from Eiffel 65, to pursue a solo career [...]
