Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana, Grammy winner and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, returns to Italy for a single concert in summer 2025, Wednesday 2 July as part of the Mantua Summer Festival. The concert will retrace Santana's fifty-year career, with songs taken from his most famous albums, from Abraxas to Supernatural, passing through the historic performance at Woodstock. Carlos Santana was born in Autlán de Navarro, in the Mexican state of Jalisco, into a family of musicians. In the 1960s, the family moved to San Francisco, where the very young musician came into contact with new musical genres. His talent does not go unnoticed, under the guidance of Carlos the group "Santana Blues Band" is formed, which begins to play in increasingly larger venues, ending up selling thousands of copies of their first album, Santana. After the dissolution of the band in the 70s, Carlos reinvented himself and consolidated his reputation as one of the most iconic artists in music history by continuing to produce and innovate for over five decades [...]
