Originally from San Basilio, a neighbourhood on the north-eastern outskirts of Rome, one of the most difficult areas of the capital, Niccolò Moriconi began writing songs at the age of fourteen, while studying piano and composition at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory. After several performances on stages in his city, in 2016 he decided to participate in a contest organised by the independent label Honiro in Milan: he won and signed a contract with the same label.
