The return of the Boss: Springsteen in Italy during three hot summer days in July, 2016
The Boss is back in Italy and no fan will miss the event. The dates available to the devoted fans are the following: the 3rd and the 5th of July in Milan at San Siro Stadium and the 16th of July in Rome at Circo Massimo.
Springsteen is returning with the E Street Band in order to promote The ties that bind: The river collection, a commemorative box set released on the 4th of December, 2014 and dedicated to the double album The River.
'The Boss', as he has always been called, is one of the most famous and beloved contemporary rock musicians. During his long career he sold 65 million records in the US and 120 million worldwide. The artist has won many prizes among which twenty Grammys and one Oscar for the Streets of Philadelphia soundtrack for the movie Philadelphia. The Kennedy Center Honors also provided him with an important award as a recognition for his contribution to the spread of American culture worldwide.
During the Italian concerts Springsteen will be accompanied by the E Street Band, the original group that has been accompanying him since the 70's. The Boss and the E Street Band deliver long live performances that are so addictive that only one concert is not enough. Therefore, coming back to listen to them again became the wish of many fans who were frantically trying to obtain tickets once the Italian dates have been publicly released.
The concert lineup will probably be based on the album The River, that was first published in 1980 and has been played as a whole during the American concerts.
From the 9th of February the tickets can be bought through Ticketone for the dates in Milan and from the 13th of February for the dates in Rome. For the new date on the 5th of July the tickets can be bought from Friday, the 26th of February.
