    After 10 years of waiting, like a bolt from the blue, here's the announcement: Blur are back in concert in Italy! Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon's band announces the reunion with a tour that will take it to Lucca on July 22, 2023 for the only Italian stage, a dream for all of us fans of the 4 English boys, and an unmissable opportunity to listen and relive Blur's entire music career in one night. We are waiting for you by bus, destination the ramparts of the Walls of Lucca.

    Considered one of the major British bands in activity, Blur was born in the late 80s from the friendship between young Londoners Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon. In 1991 they released their debut album "Leisure", which thanks to the single "There's No Other Way" immediately achieved success at home. In 1993 they released the second studio work "Modern Life Is Rubbish" followed a year later by "Parklife" which allow the band to immediately reach the top steps of the British charts and beyond, starting the 90s Britpop phenomenon but also to the long and well-known rivalry with the other band at the turn of the wave, the "Oasis". In 1996 the single "Song 2" was released which anticipated the album of the same name "Blur" which marked a drastic change of style, abandoning the pop soul for a more alternative rock sound and which also allowed Blur to conquer the North American market. The 2000s mark a rift between Albarn and Coxon which leads the two to split up and launch new musical projects away from Blur [...]
