Samples and show: the perfect mix of the Monza Rally Show!
The first edition of the "Monza Rally" dates back to December 7, 1978, when the Autodromo organizers decided to open the doors of the legendary circuit also to rally cars.
The Rally of Monza was then born with a hybrid race image, although in fact the very first editions came close to a real rally, with special tests on terrain routes made in the inner areas of the Autodromo.
Later, it was necessary to compete exclusively on the asphalted roadway circuit, thanks to its new and original configuration, the Monza Rally not only included its major players in the world rally but also Formula 1 riders of motorcycling.
In recent years the event has gradually transformed from a simple rally race into a major media event and has taken on the name of Monza Rally Show. Thanks to the television's visibility, the final Masters' Show challenge has become a must-see for enthusiasts.
In more than 30 years of activity, the Monza Rally Show has had among the participants a wealth of riders of absolute value in the panorama of international motorsport including the most representative: Alessandro Zanardi, Colin Mcrae, Dani Sordo, Dindo Capello, Giancarlo Fisichella, Ivan Capelli, Jean Ales, Loris Capirossi, Marku Alen, Markus Gronholm, Michele Alboreto, Miki Biasion, Valentino Rossi, Sebastien Loeb, Tony Cairoli and many other top-ranked drivers in the national scene.
